PeakPenny

PeakPenny is a mobile + web app that turns your utility smart-meter data into a simple “what to change today” plan. It connects via Green Button / utility OAuth where available, or imports interval CSVs, then highlights which hours are costing you the most and which appliances are likely driving spikes (based on pattern matching, not magic). You set a comfort schedule (sleep, work-from-home, EV charging, laundry), and it builds a peak-avoidance plan with reminders and optional smart-plug integrations for a few high-impact loads. It also tracks rate plans and flags when you’re on a bad tariff for your usage shape. This is not a whole-home disaggregation fantasy; it’s a pragmatic peak-cost coach that works even with limited data and gives measurable weekly savings reports.
