PeakPilot

PeakPilot is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small and mid-sized commercial buildings reduce peak demand charges using the data they already have from utility interval meters and basic building schedules. It ingests 15-minute (or hourly) usage, identifies the few days and hours that set monthly peaks, and turns that into a simple “do this at 2–5pm” playbook: pre-cool/pre-heat windows, staggered equipment start times, EV charging caps, and alerts when demand is trending toward a new peak. It also estimates demand-charge savings under the customer’s actual tariff, not generic assumptions. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional analytics for tariffs and baselines, plus AI to generate actionable, site-specific recommendations and to explain them in plain language. It’s designed for operators who don’t have an energy manager and don’t want a complex BMS project.
