PeakPledge
PeakPledge helps small communities (apartment floors, dorms, HOAs, coworking spaces) reduce electricity use during expensive peak hours by running short, coordinated “pledge windows.” An admin creates a group, sets local peak times, and invites members. The app sends a simple prompt (“2-hour pledge: delay laundry, dim lights, pause EV charging”) and tracks participation via quick check-ins plus optional utility/plug integrations where available. Groups earn points, unlock local sponsor rewards, and get a weekly report showing estimated peak kWh avoided and bill impact. This is not a magic bill slasher: savings depend on your tariff and whether people actually change behavior. But it makes demand response accessible without utility programs, and it creates social accountability that individual energy apps lack. It’s a mobile app with a lightweight web dashboard for admins.
