PedalMatch is a mobile + web app that helps guitarists and bassists choose pedals and signal-chain order based on their exact gear, playing style, and constraints (budget, board space, power, noise tolerance). Users build a simple rig profile (guitar/pickups, amp, cab/IR, genre, venue volume) and log what they already own. The app then suggests compatible pedals, power requirements, and practical chain templates, with “why this works” explanations and common gotchas (buffer placement, impedance issues, noisy daisy chains). It also includes a lightweight community layer: users can share real-world rig snapshots with short audio clips and settings, but the focus stays on compatibility and repeatable results—not endless opinion threads. This is not magic tone in a box; it’s a decision tool that reduces expensive trial-and-error and returns.
