PedigreePad

PedigreePad is a web app (with optional tablet-friendly UI) that helps genetic counselors and clinical genetics teams capture, standardize, and export family histories as pedigrees without wrestling with clunky EHR tools. It guides intake with smart prompts (ages, diagnoses, ancestry, consanguinity, miscarriages, adoption, donor conception) and instantly renders a clean pedigree using standard symbols. It exports to PDF and structured formats (FHIR FamilyMemberHistory where feasible) so clinics can attach it to charts. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used only to convert messy patient-provided narratives (portal messages, scanned intake forms, or typed notes) into a draft pedigree that the clinician must confirm. The product lives or dies on reliability, audit trails, and speed—not flashy “diagnosis” claims. It’s realistic because it targets documentation efficiency, not clinical decision-making.
