PeeringPulse
PeeringPulse is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that monitors global BGP routing signals to catch early signs of internet reachability problems affecting your networks, cloud regions, or critical third-party services. It continuously ingests public route collector data, flags suspicious events (route leaks, hijack-like patterns, sudden AS-path changes, prefix withdrawals), and correlates them with your assets (your ASNs, prefixes, upstreams, and key dependencies). Instead of drowning you in raw BGP noise, it provides a risk score, clear explanations, and a timeline of what changed and where. The MVP focuses on “actionable early warning” rather than full-blown NOC tooling: Slack/PagerDuty alerts, simple dashboards, and incident-ready exports. It’s realistic: it won’t replace enterprise monitoring suites, but it can give smaller operators and SRE teams a cheap, fast signal that something on the internet is shifting before customers start screaming.
