PeerProof

PeerProof is a mobile + web app that helps teens reality-check social drama: screenshots, rumors, and “he said/she said” situations. Users can upload a claim (text, screenshot, or summary) and run it through structured prompts that separate facts, assumptions, and missing context. The app offers a private “timeline builder” to reconstruct what happened, plus a consent-first request system to ask involved people for their version without escalating conflict. An AI assistant flags manipulation patterns (selective cropping, missing timestamps, coercive language) and suggests de-escalation scripts that don’t sound like an adult wrote them. It also includes a “blast radius” warning that estimates how sharing could spread and what it could violate (school policy, harassment, doxxing). This is not a therapy app; it’s a practical tool to reduce impulsive sharing and social fallout.
