PeerPulse

PeerPulse is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that monitors BGP sessions and transit/peering health across your edge, then turns noisy routing data into actionable incident signals. It ingests BGP updates, session state, latency/loss probes to key prefixes, and traffic shifts (NetFlow/sFlow/IPFIX) to detect route leaks, flaps, suboptimal path changes, and transit degradation. The product focuses on fast triage: “what changed, where, and who to call” with an incident timeline, suspected offending ASN, and suggested mitigations (e.g., prefix filters, max-prefix, community changes). It integrates with Slack/PagerDuty/Jira and maintains a peering contact book and escalation playbooks per peer/transit provider. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional collection/alerting plus AI-assisted correlation, summarization, and postmortem drafting. Realistically, it lives or dies on trust, low false positives, and painless deployment.
