PensionLens is a mobile + web app that helps people consolidate, understand, and stress-test their retirement pensions across employers and providers. Users connect accounts (where supported) or upload statements; the app extracts key fields (benefit type, accrual rate, vesting, fees, projected income) and converts everything into a single monthly retirement-income forecast with scenarios (early retirement, job change, contribution increase, inflation). It flags common landmines: missing beneficiaries, high-fee funds, underfunded DB plans, and gaps caused by job hopping. It also produces a plain-English “what to do next” checklist and a downloadable summary users can share with a spouse or advisor. This is an AI + traditional app: AI for statement parsing and explanation, traditional for calculations, audit trails, and compliance-friendly reporting. It’s not magic—garbage inputs will still yield garbage outputs, but it makes pensions legible.
