PensionPilot

PensionPilot is a web + mobile AI-assisted retirement “runway” planner for people 5–15 years from retiring who don’t trust generic calculators. Users connect accounts (401k/IRA/brokerage, bank, Social Security estimate) and enter real-world variables: part-time work, healthcare bridge options, relocation, dependents, and one-off expenses. The app generates a month-by-month cashflow runway, flags “cliff risks” (Medicare timing, RMDs, Social Security claiming tradeoffs, sequence-of-returns exposure), and suggests concrete levers (delay retirement by 6 months, reduce withdrawals, shift spending categories, adjust claiming age). It also produces a “Retirement Readiness Packet” users can take to a human advisor or spouse: assumptions, scenarios, and a plain-English summary. It’s not a robo-advisor; it’s a decision tool that makes tradeoffs explicit and harder to ignore.
