PerfPermit

PerfPermit is a mobile + web app that helps performance artists and small producers plan site-specific or public-space performance art without getting derailed by permits, insurance, and venue rules. Users pick a city/location type, enter basics (crowd size, sound amplification, props, duration), and the app generates a realistic checklist: which permits are likely required, typical lead times, estimated fees, and the exact documents to prepare. It also tracks deadlines, stores PDFs, and provides a simple “proof pack” you can share with venues, city staff, or collaborators. This is not a magic permit-granting button—many cities are fragmented and slow—but it centralizes the process, reduces missed requirements, and prevents last-minute cancellations. Monetization: subscription for frequent performers/producers and per-project fees for occasional users, plus optional insurance partner referrals.
