PermiPath

PermiPath is a web app (with optional mobile field companion) that helps carbon removal project developers navigate permitting and land-use approvals for projects like DAC hubs, biochar facilities, enhanced weathering sites, and biomass storage. Instead of pretending to “automate compliance,” it provides a realistic permit plan: jurisdiction-specific checklists, agency touchpoints, required studies, timelines, and cost ranges based on comparable projects. Users upload a site boundary, basic process description, and throughput; the app generates a permitting critical path, flags likely blockers (water rights, air permits, zoning, NEPA/CEQA triggers), and produces a shareable package for investors and community stakeholders. It also tracks commitments and deadlines so teams don’t miss comment periods or data requests. This is an AI+traditional app: AI drafts and classifies documents, but humans still own decisions and legal review.
