PermiPulse is a mobile app (Android-first) that audits and continuously monitors app permissions and background data access, then helps users revoke, downgrade, or replace risky apps with safer alternatives. It translates technical signals (permission creep after updates, background location pings, clipboard reads, accessibility abuse, trackers) into plain-language risk scores and one-tap actions. The app also includes a “Privacy Routine” that runs weekly: it flags newly added permissions, suggests least-privilege settings, and offers a short checklist to lock down the most common leaks. This is not a magic shield—iOS limits deep monitoring, and many users won’t change habits. But for Android users who care, it provides a practical, repeatable way to regain autonomy without needing to be a security expert.
