PermitNudge is a web + mobile app that helps community groups and small nonprofits track local permits, inspections, and approvals for small public-benefit projects (murals, park cleanups, pop-up events, community gardens). Users create a project, select their city, and get a realistic checklist of likely permits, required documents, fees, and lead times. The app sends deadline nudges, stores documents, and logs every interaction with city departments so teams don’t lose context when volunteers rotate. It also provides a “plain-English” explainer for common forms and a shared timeline that can be exported for funders or neighborhood boards. This is not magic: it won’t replace legal advice or guarantee approval. It simply reduces the chaos, missed steps, and volunteer burnout that cause projects to die quietly.
