PermitPatch

PermitPatch is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors land-use and development activity around any address or polygon you define. It pulls public planning-agenda items, permit filings, variances, rezoning requests, and environmental review notices, then normalizes them into a single timeline with alerts. The AI layer summarizes dense PDFs, flags likely impacts (traffic, noise, tree removal, stormwater changes), and highlights deadlines for public comment or hearings. Users can follow specific parcels, keywords (e.g., “conditional use,” “subdivision”), or project types and share a clean briefing link with neighbors, clients, or internal teams. This is not a “map for everything” fantasy—coverage will be uneven because municipalities publish data inconsistently. The MVP focuses on a handful of high-data metros and expands city-by-city as connectors are added.
