PermitPatch

PermitPatch helps small cities, utilities, and contractors translate messy climate-adaptation requirements into a clear, auditable to-do list for each project. Users upload an RFP, grant conditions, or local ordinance PDFs, and the app extracts obligations (e.g., stormwater sizing, heat mitigation, materials specs, reporting cadence) and maps them to tasks, owners, and deadlines. It also flags missing evidence before submission (photos, invoices, inspection logs, as-builts) and generates a compliance packet for funders and permitting agencies. This is not a climate “prediction” tool; it’s a paperwork and execution tool that reduces rework, delays, and failed audits. The MVP focuses on a narrow set of adaptation domains (flood/stormwater and extreme heat) and a small library of common US funding sources and municipal templates, then expands via customer-provided document packs.
