PermitPaws is a web + mobile app that helps exotic animal rescues and sanctuaries track permits, inspections, and compliance deadlines across multiple jurisdictions. Most rescues run on spreadsheets, email threads, and institutional memory—until a permit lapses, an inspection fails, or an animal transfer gets delayed. The app centralizes license requirements by species and location, stores documents, assigns tasks, and sends escalating reminders before deadlines. It also generates a “transfer-ready” packet (permits, vet records, microchip IDs, chain-of-custody notes) to reduce friction with regulators and partner facilities. This is a traditional app with light AI: AI can extract key dates and requirements from uploaded permit PDFs and emails, but the core value is reliable workflows and auditable records. Realistically, sales will be slow and trust-based, but churn should be low once embedded in operations.
