PermitPaws is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps exotic animal owners, breeders, rescues, and small zoos figure out what permits and compliance steps they actually need—by species, location, and activity (own, transport, exhibit, breed, sell). Users answer a short questionnaire, then get a jurisdiction-specific checklist, required forms, agency contacts, renewal dates, and a document vault. An AI layer summarizes dense statutes into plain English and flags likely “gotchas,” but every output is linked to the original source and timestamped. The brutal truth: this space is messy, fragmented, and changes often; the product wins only if it stays current and reduces real compliance risk. Monetization is subscription plus per-entity compliance packs (e.g., “Florida + big cats + transport”).
