PermitPilot
PermitPilot is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that turns a renovation concept into a permit-submittable plan set checklist and package. Users answer a structured questionnaire about scope (walls moved, plumbing, electrical, structural, egress), upload photos and any existing drawings, and select their jurisdiction. The app generates a jurisdiction-specific submission checklist, required drawing sheets list, and a “missing info” punch list. It also provides templated plan pages (title sheet, notes, code summary, demolition plan, proposed plan) that a designer/drafter can export to PDF and mark up. This is not a magic “AI architect”; it’s a practical workflow tool that reduces rejections and back-and-forth. The AI component is limited to document parsing (reading existing PDFs) and drafting plain-language scope notes, with clear disclaimers and human review prompts.
