PermitPilot

PermitPilot is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that helps indie producers and small production teams handle the most failure-prone part of pre-production: paperwork and approvals. It generates location permit packets, COIs request emails, crew deal memos, and talent/location releases from a few prompts, then tracks every dependency in a simple “ready-to-shoot” checklist. The AI is used for drafting and summarizing requirements, not for “creative magic.” A calendar and map view tie each location to required documents, contact threads, fees, and deadlines. It also stores reusable templates per city/client and keeps an audit trail so you can prove what was sent and when. This is not a full production management suite; it’s a focused compliance and paperwork workflow that reduces shoot-day cancellations, last-minute legal panic, and expensive reschedules.
