PermitPilot

PermitPilot is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps residents and small contractors submit complete permit applications the first time. It turns messy municipal requirements into step-by-step, jurisdiction-specific checklists, pre-submission validation, and a single place to track requests, fees, inspections, and messages. The AI layer reads uploaded plans/forms and flags common omissions (missing signatures, wrong parcel IDs, outdated forms, inconsistent addresses) before submission. It also generates a clean “submission packet” and a plain-language summary the applicant can attach for reviewers. This is not a magic fast-pass: it won’t change government timelines. It simply reduces rework, resubmittals, and back-and-forth that cause weeks of avoidable delay. The product can be sold to applicants (subscription) and to municipalities (white-labeled intake quality gate) if procurement is feasible.
