PermitProof

PermitProof is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion that helps applicants submit complete, compliant license/permit applications the first time. Users pick a permit type (e.g., food truck, home renovation, signage, short-term rental), answer a guided questionnaire, and upload documents. The system runs a pre-submission “completeness + consistency” check: missing attachments, mismatched addresses/parcel IDs, expired certificates, unsigned forms, incorrect fee tiers, and common disqualifiers. It generates a clean submission packet (PDF set + checklist) and a plain-language explanation of what still blocks approval. For agencies, it offers an intake portal that standardizes required fields, reduces back-and-forth emails, and provides an audit trail of applicant attestations. This is not magic: it won’t override local rules or speed up inspections, but it will cut preventable rejections and resubmissions that waste weeks.
