PermitProof

PermitProof is a web + mobile app that helps homeowners and small contractors assemble a “permit-ready” submission package and keep contractor compliance organized (license, insurance, bond, W-9, lien waivers). Instead of pretending to auto-approve permits, it focuses on what actually blocks approvals: missing forms, wrong plan sets, inconsistent scope notes, and expired insurance. Users pick a project type and jurisdiction, then get a checklist, required attachments, and a shareable folder that can be sent to the contractor, designer, or expeditor. The app tracks expiration dates, sends reminders, and generates a clean PDF packet with a table of contents and revision history. An AI layer can read uploaded PDFs and flag missing pages, mismatched addresses, and scope gaps, but the core value works without AI. Realistically, this wins by reducing rejections and back-and-forth, not by “speeding up the city.”
