PermitPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors climate-related regulations and compliance deadlines that affect small and mid-sized businesses—starting with building energy benchmarking, emissions reporting, refrigerant rules, and local heat/flood resilience ordinances. Users select locations, industry, building type, and assets (e.g., HVAC/refrigerants, fleet, facilities). The app then generates a plain-English compliance calendar, required filings, estimated penalties for non-compliance, and a prioritized action list. It includes a document vault for permits, invoices, and audit trails, plus reminders and a simple “ask” interface that explains what a rule means and what evidence is needed. This is not a feel-good carbon tracker; it’s a practical compliance and risk tool. The MVP focuses on a limited set of jurisdictions (e.g., major US cities/states or one country) and expands coverage as data partnerships and rule parsing improve.
