PermitPulse

PermitPulse is a web + mobile app (traditional app with light AI) that helps small conservation groups, researchers, and rehabbers track permits, reporting deadlines, and compliance evidence for reptile/amphibian work. Most herp projects fail quietly on admin: expired collection permits, missing chain-of-custody notes, incomplete mortality logs, or late agency reports. The app provides a structured workflow: project setup by jurisdiction, required forms checklist, automated reminders, secure document vault, and standardized field logs that map directly to common agency reporting fields. A lightweight AI assistant can read uploaded permit PDFs and pre-fill key dates, species allowances, and reporting requirements, reducing manual data entry. Export packs generate a clean, audit-ready PDF/CSV bundle for agencies or funders. This is not glamorous, but it’s the kind of boring infrastructure that keeps projects legal, fundable, and operational.
