PermitPulse

PermitPulse is a web + mobile app that flags hidden permitting and code-compliance risk for a specific address before a buyer closes or a homeowner starts work. Users enter an address and planned scope (e.g., finish basement, add deck, convert garage). The app pulls public permit history, inspection outcomes, zoning overlays, flood/fire risk layers, and known HOA constraints (where available) to generate a plain-English “go/no-go” checklist and a realistic timeline/cost range for permits. It also tracks application status, deadlines, and required documents, and can package a contractor-ready permit packet (forms, drawings checklist, owner authorization). This is not a magic “instant permit” tool—many jurisdictions have messy data—so the product is honest about confidence levels, shows sources, and highlights what must be verified with the city/county. Monetization: per-report fees plus a pro plan for agents and contractors.
