PermitPulse

PermitPulse is a web app (with optional mobile inspector companion) for local governments to track, triage, and reduce permit and license backlogs. It ingests status events from existing systems (Accela, Tyler, Cityworks, spreadsheets) and turns them into a single queue with clear SLAs, aging, and root-cause tags. An AI layer drafts applicant updates, flags likely-stuck cases (missing documents, inter-department handoffs), and suggests next actions based on past resolutions—without pretending to “automate government.” Managers get dashboards for cycle time, rework rates, and staffing load; frontline staff get a clean worklist and templated communications. Citizens don’t need another portal; the value is internal: fewer angry calls, fewer escalations, and measurable turnaround improvements. Realistically, the hard part is integrations and change management, not the UI.
