Users enter an address, basic scope (new build/addition), and rough parameters (sq ft, stories, septic/utility, grading). The app pulls jurisdiction rules, typical review timelines, fee ranges, and common rejection reasons, then generates a “permit readiness checklist” tailored to that locale. It tracks required documents (site plan, energy calcs, structural notes), assigns owners (architect, engineer, homeowner), and flags missing items. An AI assistant summarizes local code notes into plain English and drafts submission cover letters and response templates for plan-check comments. This is not a magic “instant permit” tool; it’s a realistic workflow and risk-visibility layer that reduces avoidable back-and-forth and schedule slips.
