PermitPulse is a web app (with a lightweight mobile inspector companion) for state/provincial agencies to manage high-volume permitting and licensing queues (environmental, construction, professional licensing, events). It replaces email-and-spreadsheet workflows with a single intake portal, configurable checklists, SLA timers, and a clear “next action” queue for reviewers. The AI component summarizes applications, flags missing documents, and drafts applicant-facing deficiency letters using agency-approved templates—reducing repetitive writing while keeping humans in control. Built-in dashboards show backlog by program, reviewer load, and aging cases, making it harder for work to disappear in inboxes. Realistically, it won’t magically “transform government,” but it can measurably reduce cycle time and complaint volume in one program area, then expand. The product is sold as a secure, configurable workflow layer that can integrate with existing record systems rather than trying to replace them.
