PermitPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for contractors and small businesses to track licenses and permits across multiple jurisdictions in one place. It pulls status updates from available government portals, email confirmations, and uploaded PDFs, then normalizes them into a single timeline: submitted, in review, corrections requested, approved, expiring. An AI layer reads plan-check comments and correction notices, extracts actionable tasks, and generates a checklist and draft responses to speed resubmittals. The app also handles renewal reminders, fee tracking, and a shared “permit room” for teams and clients. Brutal reality: deep integrations with every city are unlikely; the MVP must work even when portals are inconsistent by relying on email/PDF ingestion and a small set of high-volume portal connectors. The value is reducing time wasted chasing updates and avoiding costly expiration delays.
