PermitPulse

PermitPulse is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that turns messy municipal permit data into a clear “property change-risk” report for any address. It aggregates permits, inspections, code violations, stop-work orders, and zoning flags, then summarizes what happened, what’s unresolved, and what could block a sale, refinance, or renovation. Users get a timeline of work, contractor names (when public), status changes, and a plain-language explanation of likely next steps. It also monitors an address and alerts you when new permits or violations appear—useful during escrow, for landlords, and for neighbors impacted by construction. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional data pipelines and matching, plus AI to normalize inconsistent records, classify risk, and generate human-readable summaries. The product is only as good as data coverage, so it focuses on cities/counties with reliable open records first.
