PermitPulse is a web + mobile app for managing health-and-safety permits, inspections, and corrective actions across regulated workplaces (construction, facilities, manufacturing, labs). It centralizes permit-to-work workflows (hot work, confined space, lockout/tagout, working at height) with simple templates, required attachments, and sign-offs. Field staff can capture evidence (photos, notes, readings) offline, then sync when connected. Supervisors get a live compliance dashboard showing expiring permits, overdue inspections, and open hazards by site and contractor. The system generates audit-ready logs and exports for regulators or internal audits. An AI layer can summarize incident narratives, suggest missing fields, and auto-draft corrective action plans—but the app stays usable without AI to avoid “black box” trust issues. The goal is fewer missed renewals, faster closeout, and cleaner documentation when an inspector shows up.
