PermitPulse is a web + mobile app that tracks residential solar/backup-battery permits and inspections end-to-end, using a lightweight AI layer to read emails/PDFs, extract statuses, and predict likely delays. Homeowners and small installers lose weeks (and sometimes the whole project) to opaque city portals, missing documents, and inspection scheduling chaos. This app centralizes every permit requirement, document version, fee receipt, and inspection appointment in one timeline. It pings users when a city asks for corrections, generates a “next action” checklist, and provides realistic ETAs based on that jurisdiction’s historical turnaround times. It also creates a clean audit trail for lenders/rebates and reduces the back-and-forth between homeowner, installer, and AHJ. This is not glamorous, but it’s where projects stall and money leaks.
