PermitPulse

PermitPulse is a web app (with an optional mobile companion) for municipal permitting and licensing teams to track, triage, and unblock applications before they become political problems. It ingests permit data from existing systems (Accela, Tyler EnerGov, spreadsheets) and turns it into a live operations dashboard: queue health by permit type, reviewer workload, SLA breaches, and the exact step where applications stall. A lightweight AI layer classifies incoming applications by completeness risk, flags missing documents, and suggests next actions (request info, route to specialist, schedule inspection). Residents and contractors get a simple status page with clear next steps, reducing call volume. This is not a “new permitting system” replacement—it's an overlay focused on throughput, transparency, and accountability that cities can adopt without a multi-year procurement disaster.
