PermitPulse is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that tracks, predicts, and escalates water-utility permits and right-of-way approvals before they block crews. Utilities and contractors lose real money when jobs sit idle waiting on municipalities, traffic control sign-offs, environmental reviews, or internal utility approvals. PermitPulse centralizes every permit, required document, reviewer, SLA, and dependency, then creates a single “go/no-go” readiness view for each project segment. It auto-generates submittal checklists by jurisdiction, sends deadline nudges, and logs every touchpoint so teams can prove responsiveness. An AI layer reads incoming emails/PDFs, extracts conditions (e.g., restoration specs, work hours), and flags conflicts with the construction schedule. This is not glamorous infrastructure tech, but it’s a recurring, measurable cost center that most organizations still manage in spreadsheets and inboxes.
