PermitPulse is a web + mobile app for community recreation facilities that turns messy, email-driven permits into a simple, auditable workflow. Residents and groups request gyms, fields, rooms, and equipment with required documents (insurance, waivers) attached up front. Staff get a single queue with conflict detection, configurable approval rules, and a clear trail of who approved what and when. Payments (if required) are collected at approval, and refunds/cancellations follow policy automatically. The app also supports recurring reservations, blackout dates, and priority tiers (youth leagues, nonprofits, city programs). It’s not trying to be a full parks-and-rec ERP; it focuses narrowly on permits and compliance so it can be adopted without a year-long procurement. An AI assistant helps staff summarize requests, flag missing documents, and draft responses, but humans stay in control.
