PermitPulse

PermitPulse is a web app (with an optional mobile companion) for regulatory agencies to track, triage, and reduce permitting and licensing backlogs. It ingests case data from existing systems (or simple CSV uploads) and turns it into operational dashboards: aging queues, SLA breaches, bottleneck stages, reviewer workload, and applicant touchpoints. A lightweight AI layer summarizes case notes, flags missing artifacts, and suggests next-best actions (e.g., request specific documents, schedule inspection, route to specialist). The core value is not “more workflow,” but visibility and accountability: what’s stuck, why it’s stuck, and who can unblock it. It also includes applicant-facing status pages that reduce inbound calls and emails without exposing sensitive details. Realistically, adoption hinges on integration constraints and change management, so the MVP focuses on analytics + status transparency first, then expands into deeper workflow automation.
