PermitWatt

PermitWatt is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that tracks and de-risks the permitting and interconnection workflow for new power generation projects (solar, wind, gas peakers, batteries). It centralizes every requirement, document, deadline, agency contact, and study milestone into a single timeline that is actually auditable. The app flags missing artifacts (e.g., site plans, noise studies, cultural surveys), auto-generates status reports for lenders/partners, and keeps a clean change log so teams can prove what was submitted and when. An AI layer can read incoming agency emails/PDF letters, extract action items, and update the project checklist—while keeping humans in control. This is not a “project management” clone; it’s purpose-built for the messy reality of energy permitting: shifting requirements, long lead times, and high cost of delays.
