PetitionProof
PetitionProof is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that makes public petitions and resident feedback verifiable, trackable, and harder for agencies to ignore. It provides a standardized intake form, identity and residency checks (configurable by jurisdiction), and a public status timeline: received, validated, routed, under review, response drafted, published. Each petition gets a unique public page with versioned updates, attachments, and a clear SLA countdown. Officials can post responses with citations, link to meeting agendas, and export packets for council sessions. Residents can subscribe to updates, comment within moderation rules, and see aggregate analytics (top issues by neighborhood, response times, backlog). It’s not a “social” petition site; it’s an accountability workflow layer that sits between existing city websites, email inboxes, and council clerks, reducing manual triage while increasing transparency.
