PhasePilot
PhasePilot is a web + desktop app (traditional + AI) that helps materials researchers build and refine practical phase diagrams from messy experimental datasets. You import DSC/XRD/EDS summaries or simple CSVs, tag compositions and processing conditions, and the app fits a thermodynamically plausible phase map with uncertainty bands. It doesn’t pretend to replace CALPHAD; it bridges the gap when you don’t have a full assessed database or when your alloy system is niche. The AI component assists with data cleaning (unit normalization, outlier detection, metadata extraction from instrument exports) and suggests where to sample next to reduce uncertainty. Outputs include publication-ready plots, traceable provenance, and an export to common formats for further modeling. The focus is speed, transparency, and “good enough to decide the next experiment,” not perfect predictive science.
