PhishShield

PhishShield is a mobile security app that blocks phishing and smishing at the moment of intent—when a user is about to open a link from SMS, WhatsApp, email, or a QR scan. It works as a share-sheet and keyboard/overlay assistant: paste or share any link and it returns a clear risk verdict (safe/suspicious/malicious) with the exact reason (lookalike domain, URL shortener chain, brand impersonation, newly registered domain, risky redirect). For teams, it adds lightweight policy controls (block high-risk categories, allowlists) and a simple admin console to see aggregate trends without reading message content. This is not “antivirus”; it’s a last-mile decision layer for links on mobile, where most real-world account takeovers start. It’s realistic: you won’t catch everything, but you can prevent the common, expensive mistakes.
