PickupPulse is a mobile + web app for after-school programs to manage the messiest part of the day: dismissal and parent communication. Staff run a simple “who’s here / who’s leaving with whom” flow, with real-time pickup queue, authorized pickup list, and instant broadcast messages for delays or changes. Parents get a lightweight companion app (or SMS fallback) to confirm pickup, update authorized guardians, and receive notifications. The system creates an audit trail (time-stamped check-in/out, pickup person, notes) that reduces disputes and improves safety. This is a traditional app with a small AI layer that flags anomalies (e.g., unfamiliar pickup patterns, repeated late pickups) and drafts parent messages. It’s not trying to replace your SIS/LMS; it focuses narrowly on operational reliability and safety, where spreadsheets and paper logs still dominate.
