PillSnapper
PillSnapper helps apparel brands, resale shops, and small mills quickly identify textile composition and likely care requirements using a phone photo plus a few guided prompts (feel, stretch, burn-test optional). It’s an AI-assisted triage tool, not a lab replacement: it outputs confidence scores, probable fiber blends (e.g., cotton/poly, wool/nylon), knit vs woven hints, and flags when results are unreliable and a lab test is recommended. Users can create a “material card” for each item/roll with photos, notes, supplier info, and a standardized export (CSV/PDF) for listings, QA, or intake. The app also estimates common failure risks (pilling, shrink, dye bleed) based on blend and construction, and suggests conservative care labels to reduce returns. Realistically, accuracy improves only if users follow capture guidance and provide a few extra signals; otherwise it will be “good enough” for sorting and resale, not compliance-grade labeling.
