PilotPact
PilotPact is a mobile + web app that helps people decide what to watch tonight without endless scrolling. You answer a few quick prompts (mood, time available, tolerance for violence, comedy level, language, “no teens,” etc.) and the app generates a short “watch pact” list of 3 pilots or first episodes that fit. It then gives a 30-second non-spoiler pitch, content warnings, and a confidence score based on your past likes and skips. The core is a lightweight AI layer that translates messy preferences into structured filters, but it relies heavily on a clean metadata catalog and user feedback loops. It doesn’t try to replace streaming apps; it links out to where to watch and tracks what you started. Realistically, success depends on nailing data quality and making the decision flow faster than opening Netflix.
