PingBudget

PingBudget is a web app (with a lightweight desktop agent) that enforces “latency budgets” for real-time products like video, voice, trading, gaming backends, and live dashboards. Teams define acceptable thresholds (p50/p95/p99) per region, ISP, and endpoint, then the agent runs scheduled synthetic tests and optional real-user monitoring hooks. When latency drifts, the app pinpoints likely causes (DNS, TLS, CDN edge, last-mile, server queueing) and shows a clear timeline of what changed (deploys, config, provider incidents). It’s not another generic APM: it’s a focused tool for answering one question fast—“Are we still within our latency budget, and where did we blow it?” Expect blunt reporting, not pretty charts: red/green budget compliance, top offenders, and actionable next steps. Pricing is per monitored service and region, aimed at small-to-mid teams that can’t justify enterprise observability suites.
