PingRoster is a mobile + web matchmaking companion that helps players quickly find dependable teammates for specific roles, schedules, and playstyles across popular multiplayer games. Instead of generic “LFG” spam, users create a lightweight profile with availability windows, preferred roles, comms style, and a reliability score based on confirmed attendance and post-match feedback. The app focuses on forming stable micro-squads (2–6 players) rather than one-off randoms, reducing the constant churn that ruins ranked sessions. It integrates with Discord for identity and messaging, and uses calendar-style scheduling plus “ready check” pings to lock in parties before queueing. This is not a miracle cure: toxicity and flakiness won’t disappear, and adoption is the hardest part. But for players who repeatedly lose time to no-shows and mismatched teammates, it can meaningfully reduce wasted sessions.
