PipeProof

PipeProof is a web app (with optional CLI) that continuously validates data pipelines by running lightweight, production-like “canary” checks on critical tables and events. Instead of only alerting after a job fails, it detects silent failures: missing partitions, late-arriving data, duplicated rows, metric drift, and contract violations between producers and consumers. Teams define expectations as simple rules (SQL, YAML, or UI templates) and attach them to pipeline stages (ingest, transform, publish). PipeProof schedules checks, tracks historical pass/fail, and ties failures to likely upstream causes using dependency metadata from your warehouse and orchestrator. It integrates with Slack/PagerDuty and creates incident-ready reports with exact failing queries and suggested next steps. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps generate checks, summarize incidents, and propose likely root causes, but the core product is deterministic validation and alerting.
