PitchForge

PitchForge is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that turns the messy process of submitting essays, short fiction, and reported pieces into a structured marketplace. Writers build a reusable pitch profile, attach drafts or outlines, and submit to curated “open calls” from publications, anthologies, podcasts, and newsletters. Editors get a clean queue with standardized pitch fields, blind-review options, and quick reject/shortlist workflows. The platform takes a small fee on successful commissions and offers optional paid “submission bundles” for writers who want bulk tracking and reminders. This is not a dreamy ‘discoverability’ platform—it's a workflow tool that reduces inbox chaos and makes response times measurable. AI is used only for pitch formatting, clarity suggestions, and compliance checks (word count, rights, exclusivity), not for generating stories.
