PitchProof

PitchProof is a web app (with optional Chrome extension) that pre-flights PR pitches and press releases before they go out. It scores deliverability risk (spam triggers, link reputation, attachment issues), checks for missing essentials (who/what/when/why, spokesperson, assets, embargo clarity), and flags common journalist turn-offs (hypey language, vague claims, no data, no local angle). It also maintains a lightweight “journalist preference” database your team builds over time (preferred formats, topics, response windows) and warns when a pitch violates known preferences. This is an AI + traditional app: AI rewrites subject lines and openings into tighter, less salesy copy, while rule-based checks handle compliance and email hygiene. The goal is not to ‘spray and pray’ faster—it’s to reduce self-inflicted damage and improve hit rates with the same list.
