PitchProof is a web app (with a lightweight Chrome extension) that helps job seekers and independent recruiters quickly verify whether a recruiter is likely to be legitimate, relevant, and responsive before investing time. It analyzes a recruiter’s public footprint (LinkedIn activity patterns, company domain signals, job-post consistency, contact method red flags) and produces a simple risk/relevance score plus suggested outreach messaging. It also tracks your outreach attempts and outcomes to learn which recruiter “types” actually respond in your niche. This is an AI app + traditional workflow tool: AI summarizes signals and drafts messages, while the core value is a structured verification checklist and outcome tracking. It won’t magically get you hired; it just reduces wasted time, scams, and dead-end conversations—especially in high-volume job markets where recruiter noise is high.
